"Creativity Garden"

"Creativity garden" is a dedicated and specifically designed Gifted education classroom at the Frontier School of Innovation. Students spend 150 minutes a week with a certified gifted teacher working on interdisciplinary STEM focused projects. Students learn about coding, robotics and scientific principles via project based and inquiry driven activities. Gifted teacher also monitors the overall student academic progress via monthly “check-ins”.

Classroom walls are magnetic and you can write on them! Students utilize walls to collaborate and plan their projects.

Specifically selected furniture is highly mobile and classroom is designed to promote student learning.

Tools and materials are readily available for students to incorporate into low fidelity prototyping and daily maker challenges.

Resources and materials are organized into stations and grouped into zones for easier access and usage.
